  • Collaboration: Work effectively with a healthcare team that may include physician assistants, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and pain management specialists.
  • Communication: Clearly explain diagnoses, treatment options, and potential risks and benefits of procedures to patients and their families.
  • Education and Advocacy: Stay current with advancements in the field of orthopedic surgery through ongoing learning and may participate in research activities or teach medical students and residents.

Essential Skills:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with specialization and board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery.
  • Exceptional surgical skills, hand-eye coordination, and dexterity.
  • In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and the musculoskeletal system.
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
