Nurse

Position Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients, monitoring their health conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with doctors and other medical professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform initial patient assessments and record medical history and symptoms.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and evaluate customized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments to patients and monitor their response.
- Use medical equipment to perform diagnostic tests and monitor patient vitals.
- Educate patients and their families on managing illnesses or injuries and disease prevention.
- Ensure the continuity of care for patients, including follow-up appointments and information on additional community resources.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and medical laws.
- Provide emotional support and empathy to patients and their families.
- Stay current with advancements in healthcare through continuing education and professional development.

Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in a specific type of setting, e.g., hospital, clinic.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or equivalent.
- Current BLS/CPR certification. ACLS/PALS may be required for certain departments.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and diagnostics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Work Environment:
- The job requires standing and walking for extended periods.
- Ability to lift patients and equipment may be necessary.
- Exposure to infectious diseases is possible; adherence to safety protocols is essential.
